“ Had a great time! Allen was an amazing server, attentive and made us feel welcome!!! Will most definitely return! ”
“ We had a lovely carvery meal today at the Toby Liberton. Food was cooked to perfection and tasty. Olena, our server was friendly, cheerful and had a quick chat with us ... we are regular customers. She made sure our food was okay for us and that we had everything we needed. Because of her attentiveness, she helped to make our Toby experience a good one. I recommend a visit to Toby Carvery Liberton a must! ”
“ It's really nice food and not too busy for a city pub. There was plenty of parking and room to sit outside for a drink. The inside was quite large and had plenty of seating. There was no wiring for the carvery, and you basically get your meal, and a member of staff will add it to your table number. There are five choices of meat on a weekend and also have the option for a meat free carvery, We had spent the day out so opted for a desert but unfortunately there was no ice cream. Would definitely be back when in Edinburgh again. ”
“ Had a lovely time here! It was actually my first ever time doing a solo dine in and my server Judith made it such a breeze! She calmed my nerves instantly and made for a very fun and enjoyable time! I would definitely recommend coming here- solo or with a group! ”
“ First time at this Carvery. Lucky to get in as this is usually well booked. Wasn’t disappointed, service, cleanliness and food all very good. Coffee under a “vegetarian gravy “ sign, but still very good. Would recommend and come back, if time and space available, when booking. ”
“ Visited this carvery today and was so pleased with customer service given and staff attitude. Especially by Angela (we asked her name) She was very helpful as I was not sure how things worked and she was more than happy to explain everything to me and continued to assist when I needed it. Even more so with a smile and a cheerful manner. Service like this is few and far between and can't thank her enough. I will mention chris also who was another that provided service in a fantastic manner. I do hope management takes time to acknowledge these staff members as said ones like these are rare . ”
“ A great pub, obviously some history to the building, including an ancient well in the grounds. The food was great. The staff were friendly. Decent sized car park. Even the refillable drinks fountain was working properly! ”
“ Was greeted by a lovely girl on arrival called Judith, she couldn't have done enough and was extremely helpful. She made sure that we where ok when passing our table, she also always had a smile on her face so we felt quite at ease, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff that work here. ”
